Joseph L. DiLeo, CLF, CLTC, CEO and Special Care Planner1, is dedicated to providing clients with both the professional and individual attention necessary to help them achieve their financial goals, as well as ongoing service as their needs change.
As the CEO of MassMutual New York State, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), Mr. DiLeo has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He and his staff specialize in providing professionals, business owners and individuals with life insurance, annuities and various investment products.2
Active in industry and community associations, he is a member of both the national and local Association of Life Underwriters. Mr. DiLeo has achieved numerous distinctions including President’s Council, Top Club and the Presidents Cup awarded for agency excellence with his previous firm. With MassMutual for four years, Mr. DiLeo has achieved Leaders Club and has received the Chairman’s Trophy.
Mr. DiLeo is a former President of the St. Margaret’s Catholic Youth Organization and the 1998 President of the WNY General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA). He is the recipient of the 1985 Manus Christi Award for Outstanding Youth Leadership and a Certificate of Merit presented by the WNY District of the US Attorney’s Office. He is a volunteer with the Buffalo Olmstead Park Conservancy, Leaf Bud Program, and served as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
On November 8, 2008, at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Twenty-Fourth Annual Dinner Auction, Mr. DiLeo was the third recipient of the John Walsh Award. The award is given annually to a supporter of the NCMEC/NY Branch who consistently shows outstanding leadership and dedication to the advancement of the mission of NCMEC on the behalf of the children and families they serve. In addition, Mr. DiLeo has twice been awarded the prestigious MassMutual Community Service Award, in 2009 and 2014, for his work with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the P.U.N.T Foundation (Perseverance, Understanding, Need and Triumph) respectively.
Mr. DiLeo is currently on the advisory board for Heritage Centers for the Disabled and Gilda’s Club.
Mr. DiLeo and his wife Rosemary have four children, Joseph, Marc, Alexandra, and Giuliana.
