Rick’s experience in the financial services industry shares roots within relationship management, portfolio management, and project management. He has worked for one of this nation’s largest banks as well as one of the world’s largest private investment firms. In these roles his relationship & portfolio management efforts resonated at both the client-facing level and institutional level from the east coast to the mid-west. Prior to founding Abrams Realty Brokerage, LLC, Rick worked as a Sales Executive with Aite Group LLC, working with the C and E level personnel at various financial services boutiques and banks in NYC and Chicago.

His role as Portfolio Manager, AVP with U.S. Trust, Bank of America, and Private Portfolio Services is where he was part of the team responsible for the strategic and tactical management of various types of trust, pensions, and charitable accounts for clients from diverse backgrounds, charitable organizations, and institutions. 

During his tenure with Bank of America, Mr. Bellows helped the organization manage over 315 accounts with a TUA of $275-to $340 mm. Rick worked as an Investments Representative for Fidelity Investments Brokerage LLC and worked with Fidelity Investments brokerage clients as an Institutional Wholesaler and Relationship Manager. Here he acted as the liaison between Fidelity Institutional Investment Services and independent broker-dealers and their clients with the minimum of $2mm under management with FIIS and the title of Advisor Council.  His largest client was $50mm and it is here where he achieved 100% sales goal production with a book of business that included 147 top tier clients and a $1.2 billion-dollar balance totaling $302 million of total sales. In this capacity, he achieved 100% of sales goal in 2001 and spot within Fidelity’s Institutional Investment’s President’s Club.

Rick has received his MBA and BS from Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island. His BS is in Finance and His MBA is in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing. He holds his series 7 & 66, as well as Life, Accident & Health in RI, & MA.

Rick also spent 5 years in the United States Army and the Massachusetts National Guard as a Combat Engineer and was part of the 3rd Armored Divisions assault on the Republican Guard during the liberation of Kuwait as part of Desert Storm in Feb of 1991.
