Focus: Insurance Strategies
Beth Kljajic was recruited to WestPoint Financial Group in 2019. She earned a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, where she completed her thesis on Medicare Finance. She sought to join a premier firm and to work in a capacity that would leverage her natural ability to connect with people. As a financial representative at WestPoint, she has the opportunity to do both.
Beth feels this difficult decision was the right one for her. Looking back on the early years of her practice, she acknowledges how much effort it took to establish a firm foundation. But like many successful entrepreneurs, she was motivated by a vision, and put in the necessary time to get her business off to a strong start.
The experience provides her with a personal connection to the business owners whom she counts as clients today. “Business owners care deeply about their businesses: almost all of their thought and energy goes into the business,” says Beth. “I enjoy working with them because they know they need help and there are lots of opportunities to create strategies.”
As a former President of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Women Business owners, Beth focuses much of her practice on helping entrepreneurs with business succession strategies. She also counts many executives and attorneys as clients. “Doctors and attorneys are business owners, too,” she points out. Beth enjoys meeting with people, listening to their stories and helping them work toward achieving their goals.
Beth believes in continuing to educate herself in her chosen field and has pursued several industry designations. She obtained the RICP® designation in 2019. She is also an AARP certified Long-Term Care Consultant and holds certificates in many states.
